Allison Motz, M.P.A., President & Owner

Allison Motz

Allison Motz is an innovative, strategic thinker with over 18 years of executive management experience creating solutions and strategies moving organizations to their highest potential. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Nashville, Tennessee.

After completing 10 years in the non-profit and government sectors, she left to pursue a consulting practice with a goal of strengthening organizations that strengthen lives and communities. Her focus is customized to the needs of her clients and supporting their efforts to further their strategic visions. She seeks clients willing to work in partnership and welcomes organizations facing complex challenges. She thrives in work that requires strategic and tactical problem-solving. She can see the “big picture” and translate the picture into an operational plan for implementation. She has experience managing staff and support consultants and the ability to build relationships to enhance project goals. She is seeking opportunities with for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Allison has facilitated business and non-profit collaborations to address youth and workforce development challenges with shared solutions.  She worked with healthcare systems to develop the Northeast Ohio Health, Science, and Innovation Coalition, an unprecedented partnership of regional health systems (Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Summa Health System, The MetroHealth System, Southwest General Health Center, EMH Health System, and the Louis V. Stokes Medical Center) working towards mutual workforce pipeline solutions.

Allison's consulting work has also included the State of Ohio for the Department of Job & Family Services advising local workforce regions to ensure their comprehension and implementation of ARRA funding strategies;  Global Corporate College managing a national network of Community Colleges and using SharePoint as a national communication tool; researching and designing a youth engagement initiative for the Construction Employers Association; and working with the city of Newark,  New Jersey on the implementation of their US Department of Labor Innovation plan.

Allison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communications and a Master's Degree in Public Administration.  She was a graduate of the 2005 Cleveland Bridge Builder's Program.  She is married with four children, a dog, and a cat.  She enjoys volunteering and has volunteer experience with United Way of Greater Cleveland, Community Service Alliance, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries Housing Services, St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, and Susan G. Komen For the Cure.  In 2011, she authored a children’s book titled “Where is My Dee-Chee?” about her daughter Emily’s travels to Cleveland attractions looking for her lost “dee-chee.”  She enjoys coaching basketball, playing basketball, movies, and watching “Expedition Unknown” with Josh Gates with her son who wants to be an explorer when he grows up.  She hopes that Bigfoot and the Yeti are real.
