Kathleen
Wildman
has
more
than
a
decade
of
experience
helping
non-profit
organizations
build
relationships
and
secure
funding.
She
served
as
the
Director
of
Development
and
Grant
Writer
for
Ursuline
College
and
the
Director
of
Corporate,
Foundation,
and
Government
Relations
at
Saint
Mary’s
College
in
Notre
Dame,
Indiana.
Prior to her work in higher education, Kathleen ran her own grants consulting business in northeast Ohio for six years, working with a broad range of community-based organizations, including an organization providing home-delivered meals to the elderly, a provider of grassroots leadership development in the urban core, a collective impact effort launched by a community foundation focused on positive youth development, a music education program for children, and two faith-based organizations dedicated to serving the marginalized through homeless outreach, hot meals, support for substance abuse recovery, and prison ministry.
She began her career serving on the labor policy staff of the late Senator Ted Kennedy. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Smith College and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Her graduate course work has included fundraising planning, donor communications, ethics, strategic planning, and major gifts. In 2026, Kathleen will begin serving on the peer review subcommittee for the Grant Professionals Association’s publications.
In her spare time, Kathleen volunteers as the Smith College Alumnae Admissions Coordinator for the state of Ohio, Candidates Chair for the Smith College Club of Cleveland, and Class Fund Coordinator for Smith College Class of 2000.
